Grace notes are the little "extras" that add a bit of fun and intrigue to music.  These embellishments are considered inessential to the melody or harmony; yet they infuse an undeniably crucial element of beauty to a song.

AMAZING GRACE NOTES Piano Studio aims to guide students - from beginners to advanced - to experience their own "grace notes" moments through learning to play piano and filling their lives with music they enjoy - and make - on their own!

Lessons are individualized to each student's goals, interests, strengths, and learning styles. A core curriculum of piano pedagogy methods is offered, in addition to theory and technique instruction, with an emphasis on a well-rounded variety of musical styles and genres.  Performance opportunities and music appreciation experiences are always encouraged.

 

AMAZING GRACE NOTES believes music is a vital part of the education and emotional maturity of children, youth, and even adults.  Beyond the intellectual and mathematical benefits of learning to play piano that have been lauded in many studies, music offers us all so much more. Daily practice requires discipline, perseverance, and patience...and the outcome is creative expression and the satisfaction of perennial accomplishment.  Performances offer motivation to practice and the opportunity to experience confidence and poise for any future group situation.
